Eleuthera All That Jazz Festival
FLDA lights the annual All That Jazz Festival at the Leon Levy Preserve. The festival raises money for the Eleuthera Haynes Library and is a great cause (as well as being a lot of fun). The setting for the venue is a gorgeous outdoor pavilion surrounded by nature. The musicians consisted of a mix of local Bahamian artists as well as many from NYC and around the world.
The logistics of working on a small remote island are difficult. All of the gear must come by boat and there isn't any room for "oh by the way" or forgetting to put something on the order. Organization is key! If something breaks you must fix it or do without.
